Hearken is looking for an analyst to join our growing European team.
This role will be focused on supporting the growth of our consulting practice in Europe. We are looking for someone who is excited by breaking into a new market and developing the business from scratch. We’d like this member of our team to have a strong interest in community engagement and audience development, and be keen to expand and apply that knowledge.
Time in this role will be divided between assisting with service delivery via strategy and content creation, conducting business development in target markets, and supporting our current partners to achieve their goals. The ideal candidate will be an excellent listener and strategic thinker and will be key in accelerating Hearken’s European expansion.
This candidate must be able to legally work in the UK. Hearken does not sponsor visas.
Your responsibilities will include:
Client services support:
Assist the Europe team in their client meetings and deliverables.
Participate in on-site client meetings and conduct strategic conversations with our clients as part of our engagements
Gather and analyze information, and create reports and insights to support the consulting practice
Design presentations for clients that communicate broad strategic concepts clearly
Build the client pipeline in Europe via outreach and networking for both services and technology
Conduct market research to investigate new territories and verticals
Observe and synthesize market insights to assist leadership in making key decisions related to European market growth.
Contribute to growth in Europe via brand building, social media and event organisation
Product Account Management:
Support European partners by providing them technical insight, monitoring their success and assisting with day to day inquiries
Assist in building out account strategy for current partners and ensure that they achieve their goals.
Liaise with the US-based innovation team to ensure product feedback is heard
2 – 4 years work experience
Excellent writing skills
Ability to effectively communicate complex ideas
Ability to synthesize large amounts of information into interesting, readable reports
Exceptional analytical skills
Great communication skills: interact with clients using the right tone in emails, in person, and in virtual meetings
Ability to work with remote teams across time zones and in virtual office environments
Flexible, adaptable and open to different ways of solving problems
Able to facilitate product trainings
Willingness to travel
Additional skills we consider a major plus:
Interest or experience in journalism, media, or other public serving industries
Experience in consulting or services-based industries
Working knowledge of design thinking principles
Language skills - especially German, Spanish, French
